The hamlet of St. Antonin
is nestled among arid hills, covered with pine and scrub,
sprinkled with vineyards here and there.
The town of Lorgues is 7 kilometres (4½ miles) away.
A typical Provence town, its architecture has been carefully
preserved, and is known from near and far. Along its main
street, framed by centennial plane trees, our guests will
enjoy strolling from one café terrace to another.
The colourful weekly farmers' market on Tuesday mornings
is well worth a detour.

are available in the area, including St-Endréol,
Valescure, St-Tropez, and Beauvallon.
The region is a treasure for cyclists of all colours, as
well as for hikers who will enjoy the multitude of marked
trails offered by this well-preserved region.
The closest sea-side beaches are just under an hour drive
away, at Ramatuelle (St-Tropez), to mention just one of
many!
The gorges of the Verdon
and the Lake of Sainte-Croix are two splendid and majestic
sites, offering a piece of paradise to fans of sailing and
fishing.
Visits to the many gourmet restaurants in the area will
be a treat for those who appreciate true Provençal
cuisine, and will certainly complement your visits to the
wine cellars of the châteaux dotting the country roads.
A host of registered monuments
are within a short distance and should not be missed, including
the Abbey of Thoronet, which attracts thousands of visitors
each year, as well as the Castle of Entrecasteaux, a superb
and elegant structure built between the 11th and 18th centuries.
